What Your Agent Can Do

Understand what your agent can do — capabilities depend on the agent you hired, plus the PMS and channels you connect.

How It Works

Each agent comes with a set of capabilities based on the type of agent you hired from the Agent Store. For example, an agent connected to your PMS can show room availability and pricing, while another agent may handle vacation rental conversations. Your agent's capabilities define what it can do — answer questions, collect guest information, handle bookings, and more.

You don't need to configure anything manually — capabilities are ready to use once you set up your agent's knowledge base and connect your integrations.

Integrations You Can Set Up Yourself

Property Management System (PMS)

If your agent supports a PMS integration (Apaleo, Mews, Guesty, Hospitable, Zeevou, Profitroom, or Clock PMS), you'll see a PMS Settings section in the agent's sidebar navigation. Click it to authorize your PMS account and start syncing room types, rates, and availability.

For details, see PMS Integrations.

Website Chat Widget

You can add a chat widget to your website so guests can talk to your agent directly. Go to Settings > Deploy & Share to get the embed code. You can also customize colors, texts, and behavior under Widget settings.

For details, see Setting Up Your Chat Widget.

Communication Channels

Your agent can communicate with guests through multiple channels:

  • WhatsApp

  • Telegram

  • Instagram Direct Messages

  • Facebook Messenger

  • Email

  • Phone calls

These channels are set up by the Polydom team. To connect a new channel, contact Polydom or schedule a demo call. Once connected, all conversations from these channels appear in your Conversations section automatically.

Other Capabilities

Depending on the agent you hired, it may also include:

  • Lead capture — collect guest contact details and requests during conversations (see Managing Records)

  • Booking assistance — show available rooms and rates to guests when a PMS is connected
